Head of Finance & Accounting is responsible for the activities of the department in a manner that maintains the integrity of the company’s

 financial records in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and in compliance with all taxing and regulatory requirements

• Formulate strategies, policies and procedures, including sales, costing, tax, asset, budget, credit and cash flow management.

• Oversees the management of the credit and collection function. Responsible for the approval of sales to customers based upon a thorough

• evaluation of their financial condition and ability to pay, while providing the proper balance of profit potential. Directs and evaluates

• receivables analysis to insure timely collections and minimize bad debt losses.

• Manage financial and taxation compliance to ensure compliance with financial related laws and regulations

• Lead General Ledger month-end closing

• Creating appropriate Journal Entries including recording necessary accruals

• Lead monthly forecasting and reporting activities, including managed expenses, variance analysis and other ad hoc analysis.

• Provide clear analyses and explanations of what is behind the numbers.

• Communicate the results of operations (and their variances from budgets and forecasts) and interpret the effect of trends on future periods to operating management.

• Coordinate with the planning department in the development of corporate budgets and operating budgets for individual organization units.

• Lead the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) process and Long Range Plan (LRP)

• Support Internal and external financial audits.

• Lead and ensure compliance with SOX’s internal audit requirements and ensure internal controls, corporate policies and procedures are complied.

• Drive financial improvements in order to accomplish financial targets.

• Direct timely and accurate preparation of profit and loss account, balance sheet, standard and special management reports,

• providing financial analysis and recommendation for management decision, both local and to headquarters

• Management, development and motivation of staff

[자격요건]

• 체계적인 소비재 회사의 Finance (financial accounting, credit, cost accounting and analysis) 경력 8년 이상 유경험자

• Minimum 3 years-experience as Head of Finance in a global company

• Experience as Head of Finance in retail B2B global company (500억 규모 이상) preferred

• Experience in reporting to a foreign-based HQ. Knowledge of U.S. GAAP

• Experience in leading SAP implementation project a plus.

• Strong financial and accounting knowledge, understands and considers the financial impact of decisions

• Ability to work beyond functional boundaries to identify opportunities, develop and implement solutions to improve company performance

• Extremely efficient with a focus on timelines & due dates

• Excellent verbal & written communication with multiple departments and all levels of management.

• Able to effectively coach & motivate, lead, and manage subordinates

• Knowledge of golf and golf skills a plus.
