Area Sales Manager
· Developing, coordinating and executing on targeted strategic accounts on specific projects business and marketing plans. Provide sales leadership. · Ensure alignment with other functions of Elo eg. Product Management, Product Marketing, Legal, Finance, Factory Operations etc so that all sales activities and customer requirements are executed effectively and meeting business controls. · Coordinate with Product Management and Product Marketing to ensure distributors and system integrators are educated, supported, and trained to sell the full portfolio of Elo products and solutions. · Coordinate resources and facilitate and support joint demand generation and business development initiatives, following them through to deal ownership and closure. · Strong written and communication skills. Possesses good problem-solving skills. · Execute sales forecasting in line with Elo business processes with distributors. Conduct EOL/obsolescence mgmt. with distributors and sales operations. · Strive to identify new projects in the sales funnel. Combination of identifying new projects with current distributors, developing new distributors and even cold calling. ·
Ensure
rigor in sales performance tracking and reporting. Responsible to meet / exceed
sales performance, revenue goals and business objectives. Minimum
Job Requirements · Must – A degree in business/marketing or engineering · Minimum 8 years working experience in Sales & Marketing and preferably in the IT industry · Good understanding of channel go-to-market strategies and execution · Experience in managing partnerships and motivating distributors
Skills
& Abilities: · Ability to develop mid & senior level distributor relationships · Good sales and negotiation skills with confident and outgoing personality · Self-motivated, resourceful and able to work independently · Ability to adapt to constantly evolving priorities and execute on needed priorities to drive the business forward · Desire and driven to win new businesses · On-hand experience with Salesforce will be an advantage. · Infrequent business travels to regional countries are expected.
